Roaster’s Notes
El Porvenir, translated as “the future” or “things to come", was the very first coffee Madcap purchased back in 2008. The Rodriguez Family operates fives small farms located in the Apaneca region also known as know as the “Golden Coffee Belt” in El Salvador. While the elevation of El Porvenir sits lower than most of our line-up, the area fosters a unique terroir benefitting from cool nights and constant wind.
