Eliezer Calvi comes from a line of Italian descendants from the Northern Italian city of Veneto. The family established in Espírito Santo, Brazil, to search for rare minerals and gold. Then, around 1900, they started growing coffee. It took decades for the plants to adapt because the region was too cold for the newly introduced plants. Today the climate there has warmed, giving a unique terroir to produce high floral aromatics with an orange flower twist.
