Sweet & Tart

This coffee from Maria Elcy Chavez' plot on the El Placer y Arrayán farm high in the mountains of Nariño Colombia provides a beautiful combination of dense sweetness and zippy acidity. Think cherry cola and dense cane sugar with a little tropical twist.

    Roaster’s Notes
Maria Elcy is by far one of the youngest female coffee producers in the department of Nariño in southern Colombia. The farm, El Placer y Arrayán has a total of 6 hectares, 5 of which is managed by her husband and father-in-law and one portion, a hectare to be exact is solely for Maria Elcy to work and manage.
