Roaster’s Notes
Rwandan coffees are typically grown by smallholders on farms that are often smaller than one hectare per family. They organize themselves in cooperatives, sharing the services of centralized wet mills - or “washing stations” as they are known locally. Our new 03 is from one of these washing stations, called Ruvumbu, located on the mountainous shores of Lake Kivu, in the southwest corner of the country.
