Maria Elsy Chavez is by far one of the youngest female coffee growers we have encountered in the department of Nariño. Although the nine-hectare finca she works on belongs to her father in law, Maria Elsy is dedicated to the one hectare she cultivates where she can demonstrate her great passion for coffee and working the land.
