Gamatui Washed

Sweet & Inviting

Clean fruit notes accenting a buttery, macadamia nut-like sweetness make this coffee a great representation of how far Ugandan specialty coffees have come in the last few years.

    Roaster’s Notes
Many overlook Ugandan coffees because of a reputation for low acidity and flavor. Kawacom, a processing company started in 1999 in Uganda, is looking to change that reputation. This offering from them is a hallmark of their good processing and quality coffees. The attention this coffee received through processing manifests as a pleasant citric but round acidity with tannic complexity and a pleasing mouthfeel.
