Roaster’s Notes
Strawberry? In coffee? You'll have to smell it to believe it, but this lot of coffee from the Huye District of Rwanda, is a natural process coffee, meaning the fruit of the coffee plant is preserved on the seed throughout the drying process. This method, when done right, can impart a pleasantly fruited flavor that carries through in roasting and brewing. The resulting cup is aromatically reminiscent of strawberry.
