    Roaster’s Notes
Gesha is a highly revered coffee variety that became famous when it began winning awards in Panama for its superior cup quality. It is believed that it is a descendant of Ethiopian seeds brought to Costa Rica in the 1940's. Geisha is floral, juicy and sweet; a truly elegant expression of the coffee plant. Our friend Ivan Solis sourced cherries for this lot from Adolfo Umaña, who's farm La Estrella is in the hills outside of Santa Maria de Dota.
