Guatemala Ixban

Subtle & Delicate

Subtle citrus candy and floral notes aren't what we usually expect in a coffee from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala - they're a pleasant surprise in this delicate cup.

    Roaster’s Notes
Our second 2018 Guatemalan release is called Ixban, named after a small municipality found slightly farther north than La Liberated and San Pedro Necta. This is a collection of small day lots from small farmers who band together to produce enough coffee to create this small 9-bag microlot. Look for red grape juiciness and peach sweetness married to lime and green apple acidity and finishing with some amazingly aromatic florals.
