About the Roaster
Location
Denver, CO
Fun Fact
This Denver roaster operates on vintage Vittoria machines, one of which is powered by a Ferrari motor.
Kirinyaga Kii comes from the Rungeto Farmers’ Cooperative Society and is comprised of coffees from the Kii factory, one of 3 factories managed by the coop. The Kii factory sits high in the foothills of Mount Kenya, where the red volcanic soil is perfect for producing quality coffee. The Rungeto coop’s attention to detail can be seen in full force at the Kii factory, where only the ripest cherries are processed, undergoing hand sorting and floating.
