Roaster’s Notes
This coffee was produced by the Finca Santuario farmers alliance which is based in the San Ignacio District, Cajamarca, a region well known for producing amazing specialty grade coffee. Producers in this region not only have lots of elevation and heirloom varieties to work with but also a tradition of quality focused production practices. This has caught the attention of importers and buyers the past few years and we are now seeing the fruits of their labors with lots like Finca Santuario. This fully washed Caturra and Typica selection is a very balanced and sweet coffee with predominant flavors of chocolate and crisp apple that works well as a brewed coffee or as an espresso.
