    Not good coffee

Coffee beans had to much chocolate on them and clogged up my coffee grinder. Had to use a toothpick to get the coffee out of the grinder. Coffee went in trash. Did not taste good.

Hi There! I'm so sorry to hear about the disappointment with this coffee, and I'm really sorry to hear it clogged while grinding - that's really frustrating! None of the bags we offer contain any additional ingredients or flavorings; they're all 100% coffee, so it's probably not chocolate causing this at least! Ad Astra is one of the darkest coffees available on the site, and the surface of the beans can be somewhat oily due to the longer roast time, which sometimes can cause beans not to feed correctly in some grinders. Our Customer Experience Team has sent you an email though for some more information and to see what we can do to make up for the experience here!

    Not my preference

I've been getting a bag of beans once a month from Trade for about a year and a half and this is the first bag I haven't cared for. Just not my preference. It's a very dark and shiny bean if that gives any indication of what it is like.

    Not a fan

It reminds me of Peetes coffee. Tastes burnt.
