Red Rooster Coffee started in the back of a Virginia bookstore when Rose McCutchan needed coffee for her café. Since 2010, Rose and Haden Polseno-Hensley have built a family-run roaster guided by sustainability, gender equality, inclusive hiring, and onsite childcare for all employees.
Fun Fact
This roaster has its own licensed onsite childcare for employees, called Yellow Hen.

    Not balanced

    Leans more Rich & chocolatey but over extracts at 18 hrs, 1:8 ratio and notes get bitter and muted.

    Unexpected but decent

    Fruitier and brighter than I expected, not my cup of tea (coffee) but the quality was good and would be enjoyed by those who like those flavor notes.
