Jacksonville, OR
Driven by a desire to create an inclusive gathering place for rural Oregonians, founders Cody and Kristina opened Cerberus café in Jacksonville, Oregon in 2019. Within the first year, the team began small-batch roasting to extend their warm community reach even further.
Fun Fact
Cerberus got its name because the shop’s 130lb lab/mastiff mix, Bear, looks like the three-headed dog from Greek mythology.

    Slowride Decaf

    This coffee is really good! My boyfriend and I finished it within a week because it was so delicious! It pairs really well with milk and/or creamer, and I especially love drinking it iced. I also really enjoy the brown sugar, chocolate, and caramel notes. If you enjoy a smooth, flavorful decaf—especially for iced coffee—I definitely recommend giving this one a try!

    Fantastic coffee

    Makes the most delicious milk drinks, I’ve pulled this as espresso at 20 seconds and at 45seconds and it’s always great, super forgiving, low acidity, no bitterness or dry finish. Must try.

    Decaf process

    I find water processed decaf to taste better, so I'm not sure if the decaf process inpacted the taste here, but it’s less rich in taste than I expected.

    Outside of that, the taste is smooth and subtle but satisfying. Pairs well with creamers without loosing its aroma. A pleasant little coffee that comes in a very pretty package.

    First taste, and second…

    First sip, hot plain, not as strong as expected but nice flavor. Second time I used more and the flavor is good, ended up being served iced with oat milk for a great afternoon treat!
