Rwanda Nyamasheke Murundo

Sweet & Tart

We're tasting vanilla sweetness slightly boozy dark fruit notes (think syrupy blackberries) in addition to juicy acidity that reminds us of green apples and fresh grapes.

    Roaster’s Notes
We love featuring coffees from the Nyamasheke District in Rwanda. The enormous Lake Kivu and surrounding volcanic loam produces surprisingly jammy, rich coffees. The Murundo is a superb example; you'll taste a syrupy black cherry body and a stunning sweetness almost like dessert wine. There's plenty of toasted sugar in there, too, so don't be afraid to add cream!!
