Last year, we began a relationship with the Menendez family of El Salvador and brought in a liquid peach from Finca El Rosario. We are thrilled to be working with them again this year, serving up a tasty coffee from nearby Finca Santa Barbara in the Apaneca-Illamatepec volcanic mountain range. In order to operate in harmony with the dense ecosystem of the surrounding area, their practices are “Rainforest Certified,” minimizing the use of chemicals throughout production. Santa Barbara exemplifies the wonderful quality that this 4th-generation coffee farming family is known for.
