How do gift subscriptions work?
Our gift subscriptions are the perfect way to have friends and family experience a variety of coffee to match their taste profile!
You select how many bags of coffee their gift subscription will contain.
We’ll email them a redeemable gift code. You may choose to send this gift email on a specific date, or select to print the gift code and hand it to them directly.
Once the recipient receives the code to activate their gift subscription, they can activate it on our website by going to Coffee Gifts --> Redeem A Gift.
They’ll create a login and take our coffee matching to quiz to generate their taste profile and discover their personalized coffee matches. They'll select if they need coffee ground or whole bean.
You do not need to enter the gift recipient's shipping information upon purchasing. They'll set up their shipping details and let us know how frequently they'd like to receive their coffee.
Gift subscriptions do not automatically renew and your gift recipient will not need to enter payment method to claim their gift.
What kind of coffee can they choose from?
Our coffees come from an exclusive selection of coffee roasters around the United States. Your favorite coffee drinker can choose between single-origin coffees, decafs, blends, organic coffee, roasting styles, and more.
They can also pick the best roast from a country of their choice, like a single origin from the Yyirgacheffe region in Ethiopia, nutty blends from Brazil, or bright and balanced Colombian beans, just to name a few. Each batch of coffee is carefully roasted by one of more than 55 independent coffee roasters in the US.
What if my gift recipient already has a Trade account?
Easy! In that case, they just need to log into their Trade account and redeem their gift code. Once that code is redeemed, their gift will apply to their regular subscription orders.
For example, a 3-bag gift subscription will cover the costs the the next 3 standard-size bags ordered by their subscription.
Can I add a custom gift message?
Absolutely! After selecting how many bags of coffee to gift, you may write an optional custom message. This gift message will be included in their email or printable card.
What if they lose their gift code?
Not to worry! Contact a customer support agent at [email protected], or give us a chat or call, and we'll locate that gift code for you. We can also send them another email directly with the original gift code.

Can I use my Trade Store Credit for Gift purchases?
