Ululu Village Peaberry

Sweet & Inviting

Peaberries are dense small coffee beans that occasionally form when only one seed in a coffee cherry grows. This Tanzanian, coincidentally, has a dense sweetness that reminds us of fruit leather.

    Roaster’s Notes
Over 250 smallholder coffee farmers from the Ululu, Idiwili, Mafumbo, and Illomba villages contribute to the Umoja Ululu co-op in Tanzania, which is focused on maintaining healthy relationships with producers as well as improving facilities and fermentation tanks. This peaberry is crisp and refreshing; a drop of sweet sunshine.
