Sweet & Tart

Bright notes of tropical fruit and a splash of tangerine acidity are met by a big, round sweetness to make for an intense yet balanced cup.

    Roaster’s Notes
This coffee comes to us from a new-to-Joe sourcing partner: Mighty Peace Coffee. Umoja means “solidarity” in Swahili, a name carefully chosen to represent the solidarity Mighty Peace aims to build across the supply stream. This lot of washed Bourbon is grown by a cooperative of smallholder farmers in eastern Congo and features tropical fruit and floral flavors—hibiscus, pomegranate—embedded in sturdy structures of brown sweetness—molasses, golden raisin.
