Roasters don’t always agree on roast level — one roaster’s dark might look the same as another’s medium. We taste and assign every coffee our own roast level, so your matches stay consistent no matter who roasted them.

Named for its original owner’s bear-like rescue dog, Kuma Coffee has found a forever home in Downtown Seattle. Since 2008, this local favorite has evolved from a garage roastery to working on state-of-the-art, eco-friendly equipment and purchasing coffee direct from origin at above market price.
Fun Fact
Meaning bear in Japanese, Kuma is named for its founder’s big shaggy rescue dog.
