Turns out, the drinks you enjoy at your local coffee shop are just as easy to make as the coffee you brew every day. So, we're asking our roasters to share their favorite café recipes that you can whip up from home! Today's drink, Fayetteville, Arkansas' Onyx Coffee Lab with a refreshing Thai Iced Coffee.
A beloved tropical refresher since sweetened condensed milk first arrived in Thailand in the mid-twentieth century, Thai Iced Coffee is just as easy to make as it is to love.
While street vendors and coffee shops alike each have their own spin on the recipe today, we're particularly fond of Onyx Coffee Lab's take.
"We feature this drink on our spring and summer menus. It's really popular, and I think that's because it doesn't have a ton of ingredients, but it has unique flavors within it. It's inspired by Thai iced coffees — we're often inspired by other cultures, and common flavors found within those cultures. This is one of those drinks that we've had for a long time from that inspiration."
