About the Author

Ever has simultaneously lived a double life as a specialty-coffee professional and a professional journalist for almost two decades, and she loves to write about (and for) the people who make coffee so magical. Her career so far has been spent working as a barista and store manager, teaching classes, training baristas, selling green coffee, and contributing written work to both trade and mainstream publications; she is the former director of education and editorial manager for Cafe Imports in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the author of New York City Coffee: A Caffeinated History; and a member of the Barista Guild Leadership Council for 2020/21.
